Radio Frequency Analysis

This test is first performed outside the area of interest and then within, the two reading are then compared. The analysis is performed utilising a Spectrum Analyser or a Counter Surveillance receiver. These analyses check for all types of transmitters
including:
  • Sub-carriers
  • Frequency-hoppers
  • Spread spectrum
  • Scrambled
  • Encrypted
  • and burst transmitters
  • The frequency range searched, is determined by the initial risk assessment.

If an RF is detected and found to be foreign to the environment, then steps are taken to locate the origin of the signal, using specific RF locating tools.

    Radio Frequency Search

This RF search is designed primarly for smaller areas, such as offices or boardrooms and is performed by using a counter surveillance receiver designed, to locate foreign radio frequencys within a small area or room.
